Being its a 2007 I would swap the 32T front and 66T rear sprockets to 30T front and 68T rear sprockets. The gear change will make a day and night difference.

Only cost you about $250 to do the swap.

I put a Andrews 48 cam in my 08 and it made it deceptively fast in the mid range. You actually have to watch it when you pass a semi as you are really cookin' when you pass the cab if you downshift and usually have to brake hard before you're on top of traffic in front of the truck. Low end and around town manners would really benefit from the gearing change. I've thought of changing it my self but the cam makes the bike almost perfect. I can stay with or pass stage one pre 13 103s with no problem but my buddies 14 Rushmore with the better cams will pull me. Ask pro drag or Scott if the combination of the two would work well....

How are those compared to the 37h? I read both work well with stock engine.

I ran the 37h for a year before the 107. Great improvement over stock. Comes on strong at 2200 rpm to limiter.

I am really considering them. Any other cams that are similar or better? I wanted to talk with a few guys at the shop about cam choices. I want one I can just bolt in and go. My bike has under 10k miles so I don't want any reliability issues right now.

Cam swap won't give you any reliability issues as long as you don't go too big without upping compression. Lots of info and opinions out here. Best way I've found is to research and give one or two a try.

Have 07 fatboy with 96"...went to a 103 with S&S 585 cams, headwork, valves, springs 106hp 107trq with Vance & Hines short shots....could probably 7-10 more hp with a good 2 into 1 pipe but I'm happy with it. Hammer Performance did the work for me cost around $2500 but I also went with a new Dynajet Power Vision for another $450

One of the lead techs said that there was no point in doing cams in my 07 road king. Also said that with the 96, true duals are a waste and I could get more power with a decent set of slip ons. Wouldn't true duals be better with a tune than the stock y pipe and how would cams not help? I see why it wouldn't help without anything controling the afr but with a good tune, cams and true duals how would that not be better than slip ons and a tune? Or am I completely missing something here?

Also, what is recommended for tuning as far as a handheld flash tuner, piggyback etc.
