S&S HP103 as a drop in

Low cat because its a lowered softail. Currently have the louvered unwrapped baffle. Zippers posted a 107 sheet on the other forum with the same baffle that was mid 120's squared. Lots of tuners/ builders actually like the louvered baffle. I have a big boar baffle in reserve if needed...

I did not like the sound at first and it seemed quieter than the V&H Big radius 2n2. Then one day at work a buddy said the bike was louder and deeper. I let him ride it so I could listen for myself...sounds bada$$. Also could tell a difference in low rpm power, very noticable when taking off uphill from a dead stop.

I just did the MR's on my Blackline. I used a V&H tune that was for a similar cam. Bike pulled great but once completely tuned its going to be a beast.

I've been thinking about pulling my woods 555 and trying the mr103. I'm just concerned about the high lift on stock springs. I know stock spring can handle it but for how long? It looks like a really good cam. Did you do heads when you did cam? Do you have any concerns about the high lift?
But, are these cams good for a heavy bike? A 2012 FLHTC. carrying weight? This thread is speaking mostly about lighter weight bikes..
