Right on Dave.
Bring the squeeze up on that .640, and some cylinder head mods, along with a 62mm HPI for the cable-drawn models, or a 66mm S&S T/Hog for the tbw bikes, and a D&D Borezilla.
That turns those 124"ers on!!

I see nothing wrong with wanting more. I would love to have one of the chevy 572 ci 720 hp motors in my truck. If I had the scratch I would do it tomorrow. I have a cbr 1000rr with 180 hp at the rw on a dyno and sometime wish it was more. Get after it op with the big motor and come back and give us some stories so we can live vicariously through you.

I agree. Furthermore, I've found that most abrasive people on the internet are lambs when you meet them in person.

Dudes!! You all need to re-read the Ops post, before jumping on the S&S drop ins and ragging on others. The OP wants to know how to make his 103 into a 131 via a stage 1. Whatever he means by 103 & 131... It ain't gonna happen via a stage 1. Let's keep focused!

He can take it to a 131 cube engine with a lot of work, case boring, new crank, pistons, barrels, better heads etc etc.... Axtells Mountain Motor kits for one will get him there, as could any decent shop do in house, buying in what they need and doing there own machining.
But there is nothing wrong with people suggesting other options, like the s&s 124 for example, which has proven to be reliable and a solid performer, weather it be mild or wild.
So I stand by my 2 cents worth of recommending the 124 as that's what I will do when I tire of my gutsy little 106

Took my 2010 Ultra Limited from 103 to 107. 107 CU IN. Revolution Performance Jugs and pistons, Woods Cams, PP Heads with Ceramic coating, SE Tuner, BUB TDX Headers, BUB Stealth mufflers. Dyno I have HP 113, 113 Ft Pounds of Torque. I pull a trailer 2up so I wanted a mid range power band. If you want I can show the dyno results.

There have been several focused responses to the OP. The OP was a bit confusing but the OPs question has been answered as well as some suggestions that the S&S 124 be considered as well. I think the OP h as sufficient information to think about what he wants to do now. I did notice that you offered neither an answer or an alternative.
