Anybody know if Pan heads will work and fit on a 69 FLH Shovel?

Depends on what yr heads, but in short no.The oiling system is different depending on yr. 65 outside oiler's will work or some aftermarket repop's would. But anything can be made to work with patience and the right book's.

They'll fit in the chassis, and on the engine.
As already said, just need to configure the oil lines.

A 1969 FLH had a genetator bottom end.
1966-1969 was the production run of that engine.
Cast iron pump on the 1966-67 models and then the aluminum pump on the 1968-69's.
They are not rare, but you do not see them as much anymore.
I'd leave it as a generator Shovel if it we me. JMO.

Incorrect heading, a Pan Shovel is a pan which has the later shovel heads fitted, thus only a pan may be called a Pan Shovel

oiling is easy enough to set up on heads needing it,if not worried to be year correct (which it isnt stock anyway) going with S&S panheads would be a lot easier & end up with better heads anyway
