Default Andrew37 cams in a 103

A friend gave me a set of Andrews 37 cams he got for something.. Anyone running these in a stock 103 on a touring bike? Thought about throwing them in mine one weekend just to get me by until I get the 117 in there

That cam is very similar to a woods 6 and I was talking to a friend about a w6 in 103 and he was telling me that it brings quite a surprise to waking up that motor. so if the 37 is similar, you might be surprised. I hope you do it. Keep us posted.

Not the "best" choice for a touring bike IMO...but a great cam, I just put the 37H cams in my Breakout 103, and couldn't be happier!!! Strong low/mid range, pulls hard 2300-5000 rpm (intake close at 38), sounds sweet, easy start!! I've got a YouTube vid on pg. 8 of my thread if you want to hear them...

Great cam, one of the best twincam grinds of all time IMHO. I tuned a couple in 103's (one road glide, one street glide) and they did well and made a nice rideable bike.

We've built 1/2 dozen or so, 103/37 combos over the years.
The cam is the T/C version of the Evo 27 cam.
It'll run good.

So All I need is a gasket set and adjustable pushrods, right? Bike only has 10k miles, so lifters should be good.. or should I do those too?

Inner cam bearings too.
A set of S&S std. lifters wouldn't hurt.
