Default Evo 113 120 0r 127 bagger

My question is what would be the best compromise between power longevity . I plan on headwork on any of the 3 I don't want compression over 10.5. I like to rip early in the rpms.
I have had 2 ultima 127ci but they were for bikes I threw together to make a buck. Both were hard starting (timing) both had great Tq. No exp with the 113 or 120.
I would like 120 hp 130 or higher TQ.
The higher the tq the better!

Compression and lift have more to do with longevity than total cubic inches.

So keep th 120 at 9.8 3 piece flywheels
Vs the 113 10.25 comp and 5 piece crank.

If you're planning on keeping this bike I suggest an S&S 124". If a stock one isn't good enough people like Hillside can gee it up, or get one of their builds direct.

I'd definitely talk to some builders, set your budget, your goals, and then figure what to do. I like the crate motor idea. Keeping it on the conservative side compression wise. Just seems a little safer bet, if your on the bike a lot.

A moderate build to a 124"er would be the way to go.....

Yup-
124" with .585 or .625 EZ starts with mild compression and a good tune.

If I was going to do it over again I would do the S&S 124" as it would have cost less to do. It wasn't available when I did my 117" I would look into T-Man 625 cams and about 10.5:1 compression.
