FXDCI 2007 Super Glide Crankshaft Parts
Hi guys,
i have a another issue and question for you. Im looking for crankshaft pin and connecting rod bearings for my Super Glide 2007 Twin Cam 96, and I'm not successful. On Ebay i found heaps of connecting rod sets (connecting rods, crankshaft pin, bearings) for all engines, unfortunately not for TC 96. Where am I wrong? Where can I find and order these parts?
Thanx for your help and answer.
Many greetings from Czech republic.
Nice weekend to all of you.

Hi,
thanx for the answer, but unfortunately shipment of this heavy part to US is pretty complicated and expensive. Here in Czech we have few specialized racing companies, which rebuilt crankshafts.
So is there any chance to get parts for this rebuilt?
best regards

Hi,
thanx for your suggestion. Im from Czech republic, Europe, so rebuilt will be best to do in Europe. EU and Czech rep have stupid law about business with US, very expensive shipment, tax for shipment, tax for goods, tax for service ... Its horrible.
As you reckon, I will contact them and hope, they will help me.
Once more, thank all of you for your knowledges and ideas.

Hi Iggis, from the UK. My wife and I have visited your country on our Electra Glide and had a great time, where do you live?
You can find the part numbers you need on-line here and buy the parts you need from any Harley dealer, of which there are several in your country. You can also get them from neighbouring countries, where there are also plenty of Harley dealers. An alternative is to find an independent Harley specialist, in a neighbouring country if necessary, to get your crankshaft rebuilt.
We have UK specialists and dealers who can sort out your crankshaft, but there must surely be dealers closer to your home. It must be possible to find a solution!
I haven't owned a twincam long enough to need to rebuild a crank, just exactly do you want? Are the cranks rebuildable like earlier bikes? I had my Evo crankshaft fully reconditioned and all it needed was new rollers and the connecting rod bearing rings and pin to be honed.

You could ask Zoltan Rapkay in Budapest. I know him personally.

Or Jesper Danielsen - I know him personally as well.

Both are terrific guys. I believe Jesper has already done a TC crank or had it done.

We have at least a a couple dozen good used crankshaft assemblies here, and probably 6 or so that'll fit your bike.
Happy to help.
