If it's the wrong pistons why did it take 1000 miles into a trip to develop a problem??

Something doesn't make sense here. The poster said "good numbers all around on the dyno" with wrong pistons? Seems like the dyno would show a problem right off the bat.

Shame that some rando decided to spam my post............

Either way, the build has about 1,500 miles on it thus far and its phenomenal!! The bike is running great, the power is intense. Due to the extra displacement, I can sure feel the extra heat on my thighs when the bike is idling! I had a few questions for Scott and he got back to me with all the answers I needed!

I'll bring it back to dyno solutions in the coming weeks for a final tune and post the results.

Instead of making a new post I thought I'd just update this one!

Traded the 2004 Roadking Custom for a 2015 Roadglide CVO! Love the motorcycle but was feeling the "itch" this winter. I pulled the head pipe to find that it already had a full-sac headpipe! While I was there I thought I'd take a look at the lifters being it's a 110" with 32k. Needless to say a few days later I had my CVO heads, throttle body and backing plate packed into the car to take a ride up to Hillside!

Here's what we are doing with this build!
Stage II CVO heads .650 lift and AV&V springs
S&S 570 cams
58mm TB and matched backing plate
S&S lifters
Adjustable pushrods
5.3gps injectors
AIM clutch lock up hat

Can't wait to get everything back together and to the tuner! Super excited about this build. As always Scott is always available to answer questions, he's certainly made a loyal customer out of me!

Scott has my heads right now. I have an 08 cvo road king that I'm doing the same setup as you are except I'm doing the stage one heads. Scott loves that s&s 570 lol. After you get it back and tuned post up a sheet so I can get an idea of the difference between the stage one and two heads...i can't wait to get it back together.

Depending on when you sent them to him, your heads may be one of two sets he said were ahead of me on the line!

Scott called me yesterday to let me know that my headwork is done and ready to pick up! Right on time! I'll be away in St. Louis for the week but should be able to get up to him soon to pick up!

Scott, do the stage II heads come with flow bench results?
