A little background,

Love my 2004 Road King Custom. I've looked / ridden newer bikes and I just can't beat the feeling of riding this motorcycle! I had upgraded my cams a few years ago and had a ton of fun riding!

Well, the bug hit me once again. I'm a big guy and do a lot of 2-up riding with the wife. A lot of longer hauls with the bike packed down leads me to want more "ooomph".

So, I dropped my bike off at Hillside yesterday for some wonderful upgrades. Going to be doing stage 1 heads, 98" upgrade and other supporting mods.

Scott is top notch, took the time to walk me around the shop and show me some things he's working on and where he does all his machining. What an awesome place to be, you can feel the history and expertise throughout the shop. As Scott was walking me around they had already put my road king up on a table and started!

Jeez, what a great guy, great shop, and I can't wait to get the bike back and post about the great results!

Look forward to going back in a few weeks to pick her up. I'll update the post with progress.

Machine work will begin on Monday, to marry up to use with your existing Andrews 26 cams.

I also live in NYS & may want/need to upgrade someday because i often ride 2 up needing a bit more UMPH/trq @ times just like your looking for.
