Default Ironhead / Evo swap in an Amen Savior frame

Hi from Kingsport TN.
I have a project bike that is currently set up for an XLCH Ironhead. I'm tinkering with the idea of swapping out the engine for a 91'-02' Evo so I can gain the 5 speed trans and get a little better reliability/ power. I know this idea will draw criticism because the Ironhead is just better suited for the chopper look but since I have good cylinder clearance will the bolt pattern match? From what I've read it seems the Evo's are offset 1/2" and front mount plates need to be fabricated. If the Evo will give me fewer problems and be mounted fairly easily I may consider doing the work. I'm just not sure how differently HD made the bolt patterns on the Evo's. I have pics of the project on my profile.
