Default Andrews 57H cams in a 2016 stage 1 Ultra Limited?

I have a new set of Andrews 57H cams that I was gonna put in my Twin Cooled Ultra Limited
It has FM Jackpot 2-1-2 header and Rineharts and SE Ventilator
I am also using a Power Vision from FM
It runs out great

Gonna do a cam only change next month
Is it worth my time to put the 57H cams in it?
Or are the Andrews 48H or Woods 222 better suited?
Maybe the cam only change over the cams in it now isnt worth it

Bike is Twin Cooled so I think it is at 10.2 comp

Thanks

It's personal preference. Heavy bike cam only, loaded with a passenger the 57 won't really shine. Just my opinion.

If 57s go in, advance 4*. If considering other cams, add the TTS100 and Cyclerama 575 to the list.

I agree. I have the 57 in my Heritage, I like it more so with just one up. It will do the job but for a bagger you may want something a little more torquey

Now you got my interest. you'd have to change the gears to one with timing advance features correct?
What would someone expect with a 4* advance compared to no advance?

Never used one; always picked a cam and built around the cam. IIRC, there are two ways to do this one is a sprocket that fits on the rear cam and the other is a pinion sprocket that will advance or retard 4* depending on how the sprocket is installed. I believe Andrews makes both but the cam sprocket is Woods branded. Suggest you contact Gary at Andrews to get the details.

The 4* of advance will bump corrected CR about .2 points; like from 9.1 to 9.3. Should register on the butt dyno solo but don't know if it would register two up and loaded.

Thanks, on a 2013 Heritage with a stock heads I wondering if it would be worth it, it seems like a quick mod.

Summit has them for around 50 bucks Andrews Part# 216323

I think you'll be happier with a stump puller cam. I ride solo on a breakout and use the mr103 cams by s&s. I'm happy with it, but would not advise it for a bagger, or two up loaded travels. Good luck

I have the 222 cams and it is fair one up but not what I was looking for in torque, two up in a 103. 2016 may be different though. I test rode a new 16, it was nice but not a lot better than my 103 IMO.
