Default B lifters..Keep or swap?

08 Flhx.
I'm doing a winter stage 2 upgrade with:
DK AC
Rush full 2 into 1
Andrews 48H cams
FP3
My question is should I keep the b lifters?
Bike has 18k on it.
Also, which pushrods in your opinion are the
easiest to adjust?

i did that on mine and regretted it, year later the hardening on the rollers started to pit, u cant get b's any more dont even think about the c series have them now talk about noisey, woods or s&S standards seem to be a good choice

Since I had it down I'd go-ahead and install GMR's or S&S standards and your good to go for another 40,000 miles !! I also like the SE adjustable s but S&S may have some quick installs as well.

Thanks for the replies.
I've been looking at the SE quick install.
A pit pricey but you usually get what you pay for. Also been looking at hylift johnson and the S&S standard lifters.
This bike is a daily rider barring snow,
Stage 2 is most likely all she'll ever see. Im all for quality parts without over killing it.

I too like the SE Quick Install pushrods. Not too costly if you buy from a 20% off dealer like Broadtracker (and there are others).

The 'B' lifters are the good ones, but I would consider replacing them while it's down...so you don't have to go in later. Some like the Hylift lifters, but everyone likes S&S.

I would look at the comp cams V-Thunder lifters. I went with these when I put the Andrews 48H cams in my Fat Boy...great reviews and price....these are the lifters people talk about when they say you can use small block chevy lifters

Thanks for the link.
I'll probably just go with S&S standards.
Seems proven and not much different in price.
Was that "made in Mexico" thing ever clarified with the standards?

On my (Evo) Road King , my lifters, adj. pushrods, and cam are all CC V-Thunder and I'm very happy with mine. Been in there several years and not a problem yet.

Default just got rid of the c lifters

pulled my 103 cylinder off to bore to 107, out original 96 cyls back on for a few months till all new parts are ready, put a set of s&s standards in the bike, what a difference, pumped up right away when bike started, did prime them up with oil can first. no ticking at all. all I hear going down the road is a whirling sound from the motor, Ill never use another set of Harley lifters again.
I did notice that the oil supply hole in the c lifter is smaller than an old set of b lifters I had in the garage. I didn't measure any of the holes, I think the s&s lifter oil supply hole may be slightly bigger than the b lifters
