Default Lifter blocks evo

Newer bike for me.97 evo Electra glide. I don't know how long the lifters have been in there so I am replacing them. When I pulled the blocks the gasket came off perfect
Has anyone remember used the lifter block gaskets?

I wouldn't reuse them, to much extra work to tear it back down if you have a leak. While your that far into it I'd pull the cam and see if the bearing has been replaced with a Torrington.

A set of them cost $1.90. I always splurge.

I have the gaskets already. I was just thinking maybe these are really recent change. I may be doing the service for no other reason than my personal time clock. Every 20-25k right?

I have heard that HD came out with a service bulletin many years ago that the lifters indeed would require servicing @ 25k.
