Ok, thanks to support from this forum and talking to others, I have decided on S&S .570 cam's for my Fatboy S. Are there any strong opinions one way or another on spending the extra $'s on the easy start cams vs the cams without easy start?
You don't need the easy start cams as your bike has the automatic compression releases. As long as they are activated, no need for the easy starts.
I wanted to call bullshoot on this, went to the manual and sure enough. I miss my old mechanical bike where something like this wouldnt be a suprise to me. Anyway, thank you.
We use alot of them nere.they work very well. (Like stated earlier,if you bike has ACR's,dont use ez starts..the. 570's are nice cams, set compression at 10.0-10.2-1

From everything I've read about the EZ's the only downside is a little clatter on shutdown.
I didn't want them but they were recommended to me by a well known shop.
They would be a bit cheaper than buying the releases and cams for the set I found.
