Default Cam Choice for 107" build ??

Looking for some cam selection advice for a 2011 touring bike. Sent the 103 motor to Roeder's in Ohio for a bottom rebuild and boring cylinders to 107 using Wiseco forged pistons. The heads are getting a valve job but probably no porting at this time. We talked about using Andrews 48 cams but with those pistons and a .045 head gasket compression will be a bit high. Builder talked about relieving the pistons a tad to get compression where it needs to be or am I better off leaving pistons be and using an Andrews 54 or 57. Bike has S&S slip ons and cat is gone. Ultimate goal is torque down low, reliability and a smooth motor. Any advice out there would be appreciated.

57 is OK at 10.2 static; lots like them.

57.... The 48 is too much. I am surprised George would even consider it if that is who you talked to. They just finished up mine and I am awaiting the dyno.

I had cylinders bored to the 107. Pistons, cams, heads(valves), oil pump, auto compression releases, Zippers dual piston tensioners and oil cooler (the 10 didn't have one). I already had a full 2:1:2 header with Rinehart cans, Stage one air cleaner, andrews 48H cams and a power vision on it.

When I get the sheet I will post it. Weather is still iffy and the roads are a mess so I probably won't pick it up for bit.

I have 54's and they are a tiny bit soft on bottom end torque.

I went with Woods 555. Very happy. Read others that went with Woods 777 and love it. The 555 woke my bike up. I ride 2 up in the Ozarks. I can get around the cars in the hills now without needing a passing lane.
