Default 1200 conversion pro tips

Hey guys I got an 96 883 that I've pretty much out grown looking into putting the bigger top end on it and just by sheer luck my little brother ended up with all the parts that I need to do the conversion and he's willing to let them go at a killer price. I'm a fairly intelligent monkey when it comes to wrenching I've done quite a few sleds and wheelers and whatnot some dirt bikes but I've never been too deep into a Harley motor I have done a stage 1 jet kit on the bike but that's about it I'm just interested in seeing if there's some tips you guys can provide on how to complete this job easily and to the best of my ability want to be sure I'm not missing any of the fundamentals to make this thing runs like a champ thanks in advance for any info you guys can provide really looking forward to getting this job under way

Just take your time and follow the manual. It's not that difficult. You can also search for YouTube videos to give you a better idea what's involved.

What does the kit consist of?
Piston dome volume?
Head cc's?
Cams?
Ignition?
Carb?
Pipe?

Basically just getting Pistons jugs and heads and ordering a gasket set to finish it off these are all take off parts from another 1200 considering also swapping cams bring the donor bike was 1200s but was told it wasn't necessary
