Default Well this doesn’t look good…

My second post - started work on my 02 dyna low, opened it up and found this. Any thoughts on why those screws would be rubbing on the case the case? Looks like someone installed the Vulcan electronic ignition on it but parts appear to be correct.

Any movement in that shaft? Seems to be off-set a bit, or incorrect bolts were used, causing the rub (big head)...??

Did the screw underneath the cover come loose? It looks like those screws come off and the cam bolt is underneath.

What about the cam bolt? Pull the 2 screws and look underneath. If it's OK find screws with shorter heads.. Button or ..

Pull the two screws and see if the cam bolt has backed out? Best I can find of a break down: Twin Cam Ignition Replacement Parts - Vulcanworks.net - American Made Parts for Harley Davidson Motorcycles
