SE comps suck, plain and simple.

Get a Compensaver from GMR. I have THE Beta model in my 120r and its no longer an issue for me. Before then Compensaver? I could go about 15k miles with the 120r OR a 107 before the regular SE comps would start screwing up. I got so tired of it, with the 107, I put an old 09 style comp back on... at least those would go almost 30k.

The issue, so far with Hobans is what exact polymer to run.... It sounds all good, but they have to have yet find a polymer that can take the repeated compressions without becoming compressed eventually. Once compresed, it can rattle. At the show, I was told they will be trying to 'shrink' the polymer, and let it 'grow' once in the compensator. Now... that might work?

The plate that is epoxied to the primary cover is designed to properly direct fluid towards the new needle bearings that will be installed behind the comp bolt. I would highly recommend this upgrade.

Hahah! Must be April fools, today. Terrible advice. Needle bearings have NOTHING to do with anything. Its all about the spokes.

Too bad the compsaver doesn't work with the Baker adjuster. I'll wait for John to finish his before I switch. If not maybe I'll try the BDL one.

Johns comp probably won't be ready till the end of the season is the way he made it sound when u picked up my bottom end from his this winter. He is refining it a bit more and still doing some big mile testing to make sure all lasts, so I decided to go with the SE Comp.

When the DH comp is out I will be getting that for sure. Looks like a great product that doesn't depend on oiling, which is a HUGE benefits when using the $500 clutch setups that work best with ATF.

I'm running a compensaver with the baker attitude solid chain adjuster. I have a touring and room is very tight. But... it fits and works well.

Compensaver is a very smart idea and great design, but for around $400 for it I couldn't talk myself into getting it.

The unit I have is supposedly the newer "better" version, so I"ll wait till it takes a sh$t and get another one(or by then maybe johns will be out).

On my FXR's I just dumped the compensator altogether and run a straight sprocket....It has worked great for over 10 years.

I will do the same on my Dyna when it comes time to change it out.
