Default 110" case bore

Do I need to case bore a 110 to get 120 internals to fit?

I believe the 4.060" cylinders have a bigger spigot than the 4" cylinders. Plus the crank needs to be changed to a 4 5/8" stroke version.

Case boring will not work out very well on 110s. 110s use an o-ring for base cylinder seal. That o-ring is already next to the studs. Bigger bore takes a base GASKET, and with a 110, all of the available real estate is gone, because that block was originally o-ringed. It can be done, and is done regularly, but oil leaks, etc are a common occurrence. Hell, even older 110s had oil seal issues. I do NOT recommend going bigger with a 110.

We have converted probably 2 dozen 110" engines to accept the spigot bore ID of 4.322" for S&S 4 1/8" cylinders, building 124"ers.
No issues with those.
