I am working hard today, I have not had a chance to look for any stroker cranks.. wink wink. Just taking my time. not sure what size to go with, but, I am not going to do a 124 for my rkc. I think one in the teens 116 117. I could pull 125 hp that will be fun. I like my bike too.. I just couldn't think of selling it.

 

It looks like a hot rod. I put the 50 spoke on the front looks great, I need a new picture of it. I am going to loose the backrest and rack. This bike needs some gear cam noise.. whoo hoo

 

I am looking for a 4 3/8 flywheel. I am going to do the 117. I made up my mind on that so far. My problem is what to do about the mm efi. I know S@S have a kit single bore vfi. I don't see a lot of reviews on that product. They have a 52mm and a 58mm if anyone has used this set up.

 

I have owned 4 MM EFI bikes in both EVO and Twin Cam.....never have had the first problem with them. BUT....I know you're after POWER and most everybody here would likely agree that the MM system is very limited in what you can do with it. It works fine for me, but I'm well-past my need-for-speed days.

Here is my 2-pennies worth. If you are going to open the wallet to the degree I think you are, I would not put another "like" MM component in the system. It's getting harder to find MM parts at dealers now anyway and for sure, if you go with the S&S VFI...all you will be doing is replacing the ECM and not the other handful of sensors. Imagine yourself with a defective ECM when you least expect it. At least...you stand a chance of a dealer having a stock ECM, but certainly not an S&S clone.

I'd junk it and modify it for carburation. I would not stay with EFI, or spend good $$$ trying to pump-up a current system that could put you on the side of the road due to a crank position sensor, cam position sensor, temperature sensor, throttle position sensor....etc. Go ahead and make it as bullet-proof as possible while you're at it.

 

I agree, I am going to snag the fly wheel first and jump in with two feet. then go from there. S@S or dark horse seems the way to go. I like to pick my parts, not much of a kit guy. I would like to find a 11 to 11 1/2 to 1 pistons and calm them down with some heads flowing in the 90's. prob bring compression down to 10.7 or so. I love the sound of compression, I am going to use my bike more as a bar hopper. No long trips, I am over that part of my life. my busa had 11:1 throw some vp in it and they run great and smell good too.
