2012 Dyna WG upgrade time
Picked up a 2012 dyna wide glide back in march and am looking to do some upgrade. So far I have the v&h big radius, kuryakyn mach 2 ac, and powervision. Everything else is stock on the 103 engine. I typically ride in town and when I do make 30-40 mile runs I tend to stay in the idle to 3000 rpms range. For the most part, I stay in the 2000-3000 rpms range. At this point I dont care about doing head work or hopping up the compression, nor am I looking to create a race bike. Fwiw my bike has a ACR.
I have been thinking about going with the s&s 583 cam and the quick install pushrods. Anybody out there running the same cam on a 103 dyna, and how do you like it?

That Andrews 48 is a very good suggestion.
HUGE gain in that 103".

The Andrews 48 is what I had originally intended but after reading several posts about it being more for 88 and 96 engines I started looking elsewhere. Dont get me wrong as I get tempted from time to time and ramp it up to 3500-3800 rpms, however with the 6 speed anything over 3000 rpm and I'm already haulin *** way over the speed limit...im not much for paying fines..
Anyway, thanks for the replies. Time to start putting $$ back and getting ready for my fall project.
