Whats it worth?

Not saying that, lots of folks don't watch the market like I do. So someone may pay more. I would fix the brakes, not a big deal. And start it at $6000 and see what happens. I would NOT take less than $5000 just because I can part it out for that. But that involves your time. In the spring it should bring a bit more. You could always see if the guy with the 96 would do a trade.

Used market sucks and winter is coming. NADA high is $5235, KBB retail is $6500. But nothing sells at KBB retail. $6000 is pretty wishful thinking this time of year. Especially needing work. Someone would have to not be paying attention or just love it to pay that.
All of these are under 20,000 miles and only one sold at $4800.

It would list @ about 6-7k around here, and would actually sell for 5-6k.
As another suggested, I would spend the few bucks to put some pads on it. The first thing I think when I see ads like that is it's a neglected clunker that someone is trying to dump.
I am not saying that is the case, but that is the impression it gives. JMO

I said I'd never sell it but Craigslist got me. Nope never looked at fairings for it. It's a narrow glide and I replaced the stock top mount headlight with a bottom mount so I figured nothing would fit.
