Default Screaming Evo!

My first vid of my new bike running. It had a stuck float from sitting in storage. 98 fxdwg with all screaming eagle upgrades. Heads, cam, carb, ignition, pistons. Watch "98 Harley wide glide chopper running." on YouTube

Nice idle. I've been itching for an evo, but I have to save up because I just blew my wad on the 14.

I am, but there is something to be said for the mechanical carbed Harleys. I think the 98 is the last year for the evo dynas and touring. I was looking at a 98 Fatboy for sale around here for a decent price.

I like it. And its easy to work on so far. Its a strong old bike. I will have to get it on a dyno one of these days.

That engine oughta last forever. My wife as a 2004 carbed sportster and I love the way that thing sounds and smells.

I'm no wrench by any means, but I've gone from destroying anything I touch to not destroying everything I touch. I think the simplicity of an evo would be cool to work on.

Yes. I just got it running from a long nap. It needs taken out and rode still to kick the cob webs out. Maybe new plugs also.

Default For Eva EVO

Your FX really sounds nice and ramps rather quickly. SWEEEEET.....great motor to build and can get more than 100# of torque without going to a big bore kit. Love my 80"er.......
