Every part on any engine will fail under the right conditions. Quality adjustable pushrods properly installed and tightened do not fail... period. The ones in my EVO haven't been touched in 15 years.

I put Screaming Eagle adjustables in my 99 25,000 miles ago when I changed out the cam bearing. No problems so far. I did shall we say snug them up really tight. I did not want to take the tanks off and rocker boxes off just to replace the bearing.

The reason people are so nice in Nebraska is because they live next to Kansas where the really great people live. It's bound to rub off. LOL

Nebraskonians, AND Kanasoinians are nasty. Hoosiers, on the other hand, are "special."

You can add me to that list also. I have had two come loose, the second time it cost me a lifter.
Solid pushrods are all you need with hydraulic lifters.
In all the automotive world, no engine manufacturer supplies adjustable pushrods with hydraulic lifters.
Only (some) Harley owners think they are a good idea.
