I had no intentions of selling the FLHS when buying the sidecar rig. And most of the sidecars I've seen for sale are well above $5k (complete with mounts). And then they would need to be painted, etc.

On a side note: I passed on a pristine 1998 (95 Anniversary model) with matching sidecar a year or so ago. Less than 5K on the rig. The seller wanted $12k for the whole enchilada. In hindsight it was a smoking deal.

Hackd, I gave $2,000 even for this; including all the brackets. BTW, its the Ultra version, extra handles for the passenger, lockbox hidden under the seat, as well as their own speakers and volume control.

Graham, this would even match your paint...

I found a mounting kit for my year EVO at a dealer, so I'm getting closer to having everything.

Nice! You will also need a different rear brake reservoir, IIRC. Post up a pic with it mounted!

Did you ask them to do a nation wide search of other dealers to see if one of them still has the part?
I have found several "obsolete" parts that way.

That's next. Both Ronnie's and Surdyke said obsolete, but I don't know if they tried the locator.
