Congrats
You will have many very fine times ahead of you. Most all mine are behind me now but thank god I still have the memories, some of which words cannot describe. Congradulations on the new addition to your memories.

My daughter calls. She works at a bar a few miles away, her shift is over and she and needs a ride.
Its a nice cool night...mid fifties or so...so I hop on the FXR and head over. Its all quiet, country roads between home and the bar.
Didn't occur to me that she wouldn't have a jacket with her.
Oh well.
Give her my hat and my jacket and head home. Beautiful clear fall evening. Bracing cool air. Evo purring away beneath me. My daughter snuggling up against me as we ride.
Bout at good as it gets.

this is the kind of story i love to hear about, even though its a simple one. it puts a smile on my face knowing that a dad and daughter have that kind of relationship

That is AWESOME! My little girls are 9,6, and 1.
My nine year old is so excited that I'm in the market. The first Saturday of every month I work as the production manager for a local independent wrestling show, and its kind of our thing, its generally running to late for the baby to go and my 6 year old is real prissy and would rather stay with her grandmomma and paint her nails than go watch a bunch of sweaty dudes in tights run around and beat each other half to death..
Long story short, she (Megan, my 9 y\o) and I went to look at a wide glide together a month or so ago, and she says to me " Dad, since wrestling is just our thing for now, when we find a motorcycle we like and we buy it, can we ride it together to every show?"
Shes already got the bug, and I'm so excited for whats to come!
These are the most precious moments!
