I've bought a lot of stuff on both UK and US Ebays. Trying to do the last moment thing can be fraught with problems, especially if you watch your bid automatically outbid in the dying moments! Best to bid early. For those of us living overseas, US sales routinely end in the wee small hours, so staying up and losing sleep, to then lose the auction, is for dummies!

Pry very gently on the speaker grills. They are just glued in. A dab of glue to put them back on.

My ebay auction technique: On actual auctions, which are few these days, versus Buy It Now's, I either put my maximum bid in when I see it and walk away (get it if I get it...) or if I really want it, I wait until the auction is ending and put my maximum bid in a few seconds before it ends. If I get outbid, don't care, as what my maximum bid was is what I thought it was worth to me and one penny (or farthing for Tups) more would make it not worth it.

What tabs? What caddy? My speaker grills are just glued to the face of the faring, if I recall. I opened the box the bike came in, so I know no one else has been in there.

If u Open the bottom there's clear plastic tabs that run through the Caddy housing. It looks like the grills are snapped on to them but the tabs are too wide to fit through the holes I guess they are glued I'll have to try when I get home
