"Most" exhausts simply won't work, because the rear pipe goes right over the tranny side cover where the kicker is on the FXWG. There are exhausts that will work, but "most" don't, regardless of the bracket.

That's pretty obvious to someone who has owned a shovel - while the frame may not be identical to a shovel, it is in the same style and unlike any other Evo frame. It also seems to be a one year only part.

It would be a 2 year only frame.
the 1985 and 1986 FXWG were identical, other than paint options.
