Here's something I overlooked. Do I need to get a tool to press the new cam bearing in or can I smack it in with the old cam? I just read tapping it in will collapse the wall and pinch the rollers.
When I put in mine I tapped it in and didn't have any problems.
The old school way is to use the old cam and tap it in and they wouldn't have done it if it destroyed the cam bearing.
I'd love to be able to ride all year. The season is too short. I would highly recommend stabil for winter storage vs seafoam. I've used gas 2 years after it was stabiled and it still ran fine. Maybe that seafoam i put in peeled my liner
^+1 on STA-BILŪ for storage but again, we're a little biased..

You were correct, I tapped it in last night with almost no effort. I didn't think it would go in that easy. How come we don't have to use sleeve retainer or anything with these bearings? Anyone ever get a spun cam bearing? Seems like it would destroy the engine case.
It may be just me but I do not like to add anything in my fuel tank.
I've never been very big on any "witch oil".. I don't have any problem with Stabil and do believe its the best option if you're going to use anything.. However, I prefer to completely fill my bikes with NON-Ethanol fuel.. Specifically the last tank of the season. Real gas should be fine for up to 6mo in my experience.. I wouldn't let this ethanol **** sit in my stuff for 1mo..
