I did my bars. The **** looks really good if you do it right. Doesn't look like spray paint at all. Do your fender if you don't like it peel it off. Do 5 coats first two very light

There are a few places around here that do plasti-dip at very reasonable prices... I don't have anywhere to do anything like plasti-dip or paint in my garage.

What? Just buy a can at the store and spray it on. Do it in your driveway or just cover the garage floor. I did my bars in 30 minutes, 5 coats. I let them sit an hour after before install. It dries fast. No sanding. Just clean and wipe it with alcohol first. Smooth surface is fine it goes right over chrome.

Lowes Home Depot Ace whatever you got they all sell it. Get the plastidip brand not the other. First coat you should see the original finish under still, second should cover it all. Then go three more but don't go too thick or it will drip. It levels and smooths when it dries and goes flat when dry. You can recoat once it's dry. If you don't like it peel and start over.

How long does it take to dry between each coat?

Not long. 15 min maybe. I did my bars fast. I had them off and back on in an afternoon. I'd give it an overnight after the final coat to be sure it's nice and dry but I think an hour would be enough if you were rushing.
