I would have polished cases, and likely polished Trans case. Powder the valve cover and Trans cover, inner and outer primary. This one kinda speaks to me.
How about keeping it fx, but going this direction?

I'm a fan of the black myself. But I love that chrome springer front end. But I can only imagine the time it takes to keep it clean.
