Pretty sure that Springer is a scam. The 96 may be as well. Hasn't snowed in Cedar Park in a long while.

I had the Fatboy looked over today at the dealer and they said everything checked out fine. Super clean bike. Paint and chrome almost flawless, no leaks anywhere. Just needs a little bling, some new pipes, and some other goodies.

That's what the person I bought my harley from said! It just needs a new battery cover, $24.99 at Dennis Kirk. Everything else is mint and dealer serviced. He was right the battery cover was only $25, but everything else was shot too front to back.

Looks like I'll probably be going with the Fatboy. Anybody want to try and talk me out of it? Seems like a good deal to me. Or am I getting myself into a money pit? Just like the sound of the Evos so much better than the Twinkies.

Do this. Ask for some records showing something or anythings been done. I took word of mouth then later tried to get proof and learned nothing had ever been done anywhere. I say do some research look it over good and take a chance.
