Default Doc Bailey's Leather Black

Wow! I just tried this stuff and it is amazing! In the past I have used Freiberg's leather dye and topped with Pecard's, but this stuff beats that system cold.
Can't thank the forum member enough that recommended it.
I used it on my RK bags (17 years old, scuffed and fadded) and it made them like new!

I used Doc Baileys for a long time but recently switched to Lexol cleaner and conditioner. Doc Baileys worked pretty good but I did a lot of reading up on it and I think Lexol just might be a tad better.

17 years off a set of bags is wonderful.

Doc's works great. It even keeps my brown boots black.
I'll have to check out Lexol though.

I was at Biketoberfest when I first got exposed to this stuff. The guy that was selling it saw my boots and said "Lemme show you this". I figured, here's another of those fast talking salesmen pitching their goods at a rally. You know the type, "Welds aluminum with a cigarette lighter", "Polish your chrome by just looking at it", "Prevents your glasses from fogging even in a sauna". Well it seemed to work so on a whim I bought a bottle. It was cheap enough that if it didn't do as claimed I would only be out a few dollars. I use this stuff on everything now and recommend it to everyone. It really does what it is intended to.

Got a bottle sitting on my shelf. Not motivated enough to try it. Now, I will , since my saddle bags are getting old & need it!

Did my engineers boots today. Much faster than wax polish. Tho not as shiny. It might be a good thing...

I used Kiwi black shoe polish on my bags and it works great. Think about it. Leather is leather and if it looks good on your shoes it will look good on the bags. Try it, you'll like it.

Doc Bailey's has a leather feeding component that black shoe polish does not. Maybe shoe polish over Doc's? But then that defeats the purpose...
