Default Pics of the 6 gal tank anyone?

Has anyone put on a 6 gal tank? I was thinking about the one from JP cycles but was wondering how big it actually was and maybe if the 5 gal is a better fit. I am going through a 1993 Heritage barn find and figured maybe this is a good time to make it just how I want it!

I like how the new touring bikes look with their 6 gal tanks, but haven't seen the aftermarket version for the evo mount style. They must not be very popular!

I am interested in this as well. Besides the size, it is also important that the shape is right. Maybe some of the bulk could be offset by going with the extra wide mustang seat?

I used to get 200 miles out of a tank, and now I get 145, so I'd like to extend the range a bit. Ideally, 250 miles would be good.

Would a stock Road King tank of approximately the same year as the Heritage fit?

6-gal tanks on my 87 from JP cycles
They fit well with the stock dash, and I have since changed to the cateye dash and it fits up just as good.

Thanks for posting that pic up. Looks pretty good to me and the lines of it only look marginally bigger than the 5.2 gal tanks.
