Default pulley spacer lengths

Hey evo guys
Would it be too much to ask if someone knows the length of a 1994 mainshaft pulley spacer? I think I may be onto something with the problems I've been have with this newer tranny in my bike but if someone could give me the length it could clear things up for me. I'm pretty sure for a 89-93 pulley spacer its 13/16 inch if this could also be verified so I know what I have here on the bench.
Thanks

The pulley spacer on the old configuration (pre`94) was longer, and it also had a smaller outside diameter.

The upgraded pulley system uses a shorter spacer with a larger outside diameter, and the pulley is thicker at the center to make up for the shorter spacer.

The shorter fatter spacer helps keep the pulley from wobbling side to side, which can cause the nut to loosen.

The oil seal and quad seal are also different due to the difference in the outside diameter of the pulley spacers.

Pulley Spacer Info:

Early- P/N: 33334-84
.850” Long
2.062” O.D.

Mid `94 and later P/N: 33344-94
.600” Long
2.254” O.D.

Thanks Dan this is some much appreciated information.
I've been chasing this oil leak since I swap over to the 94 gearset including drivegear ( 5th ). I had kept the stock pulley but also kept the stock spacer but used the correct seal for inside the 5th gear. I don't have a newer pulley to compare with the stock pulley but I'm starting to think using the stock spacer may be the route of the oil leaks. I never had oil leaks after changing all the seals with the stock setup. By the way I have the newer splined mainshaft and clutch.
Makes me wonder what the longer spacer matched with newer 5th gear does with the seals?

The new configuration pulley won`t work with the old spacer.

With the the increased thickness of the pulley combined with the longer length of the old spacer, the pulley would be spaced too far out on the main drive gear.

You might not even get the nut on properly.

Thanks Dan , missed your post. I've decided to go back to the original 5 speed gearset and its gear case. Newer tranny came out easy enough.
