Seems to be a very easy, no fuss solution to having the passing lights on when ever you want them on. Okay, just read the installation directions - not so easy after all and isn't a "simple plug and play" type install.

As said, anyone seen or used this kit?

why not just tie the headlamp power source to the passing lamps? simple connection and costs less than a dollar. been cover multiple times in the touring section. just search for that part number you listed. many aren't happy with it.

Mike,

Thanks and what you suggested was what I was going to do until I came this from HD. After I posted I read a few reviews and it doesn't seem to be all that great.

I'll check out the touring section for the wirting though - appreciate it.

Wombat don't over think this.
5 years ago I took a 2 foot piece of wire and connected that switch to a hot on the ignition switch so that when I turn the passing lamp switch on they stay on.
It has been working fine since.

Your probably right, I do tend to analyse everything too much and over think stuff.
