Default 85 FLHTC Questions

So bought an 85 FLHTC recently and I am at a loss. I'm trying to change fluid in the primary and I want to make sure Im not an idiot. I'm looking at the original owners guide for the drain plug and it just points in a direction to where it is at and I can't find it. I changed the oil and tranny fluid no problem. Could anyone shoot me a pic of where it's at? Thanks in advance.

Bottom of the primary cover below the derby cover (round hatch). The plug can be easily mistaken for a primary bolt at a glance.

Nice ride. Not an FLHTC (Electra Glide Classic), but an FLTC (Tour Glide Classic). Makes a difference when ordering some parts. Better bike, IMO.

Servicing that thing is easier than it seems. The drain for the transmission is harder to find, behind the frame rail under the transmission (if it's like my 1988). I know you have the clutch arm on top of your transmission, but other than that I believe it's similar. I do love the frame mounted fairing on the Road/Tour Glides. I use HD fluids in the transmission and primary:

in 85 they were called tour glide. it's a very rare bike. in 85 only about 3400 electra glide/tour glides were built. total bikes produced by HD was about 35,000 in 85. the "C" meant 2 tone paint job.
