Default Wobble problem scary to ride 96 Flhr

Hey guys I'm at my wits end trying to make my beautiful 96 road King safe to ride. Ever since i got it last year it has had this horrendous rear wobble on the highway. Anything over 40 mph and it feels like someone is pulling the rear of the motorcycle left and right it's really scary to ride , I have tried everything , new tires , new swing arm bushings , new wheel bearings , better shocks , touring brace from progressive , the bike rides like absolute crap and I can't figure out why , does anyone have any input

you did not give enough info for a real answer just a guess - did you have a oem Parts and service book when you did the work

miles on the bike - its an x police unit - it was salvage when i got it kind of thing -

mine would be --- you have a seizing in one of the fork bearings - that will make the front fork sway the rear wheel back and forth - i am not on it so i do not know if the forks feel snug or loose, or if its been off and made too tight when re assembled

Bike is otherwise in pristine condition not a police unit or a salvage unit

The wobble def seems to be in the rear , the forks where off to change springs but the wobble was their before nothing in front end was seized or over tightened

Long shot but have you checked engine alignment and motor mount?

I forgot to mention that when on the highway if I apply a handful of throttle he wobble diminishes significantly then as I back off throttle to hold speed or cruise it starts wobbling like mad

Post a vid and some pictures. Impossible for people to tell with "It just wobbles and I don't know why".

Last time I heard of this problem, someone forgot to put the rear wheel retainers on the bike.
