I was holding the black button per instructions and waiting for the red button to light, BUT, that is not what will light up to sync. It is a very small LED that will light up. The red is for an emergency/low battery if memory serves.
Yes just the basic system, I called and talked to Bruce to ask a few question and
after he answered my questions he said that they were thinking of doing a
special since sturgis was around the corner and went on and offered it to me
so I went ahead and ordered it.
