Did you check for actual spark? Screwdriver in the plug wire?

Yes checked for spark with the tester in between coil and plug tester, also had spark plug out with boot on it electrode on bolt, and got spark on both test

Is the Evo engine an interfering engine??? wasnt sure if it is or not.

Yes, it's an interference motor, depending a lot on pistons, valves, cam, etc., but valves and pistons can collide if the cam is really out.

Is there compression? You don't really need to know anything exact, just is there or not? A thumb placed over the spark plug hole when you crank it will tell you enough to know if a valve has dropped or not. Ask Me How I Know:

So if you have spark at the plugs... then it most likely is:
- Timing is way off so that even with Spark and fule its just not right
- Fuel is a no go somehow. Remove the aircleaner, open the throttle and squirt some raw petrol into the manifold. Now try to start her. If she starts and then dies then its pointing to a fuel problem. If she fails to even start a little bit then it could still be your ignition being too weak.
- I have had two Ultima single fire coils fail, so went back to my old DynaS units which have run for 18 years without issue. So plan B would be to swap out the coil regardless.

Wouldn't hurt to pull your battery and have it load tested @ auto zone type store(free). I had a newly installed battery in my fatty that was causing my bike to die and restart while riding, while something to think about.

Also, not knowing what kind of ignition switch you have, the one on my bike, a 2000 Fat Boy has caused it to shut down with the loss of all power while riding. Just a couple of ideas and easy things to consider...

My vote is for timing cup came loose, and timing is way off or non-existent.

Broken/shorted wire, dead coils, dead sparking plugs. Plugs can fire in the open but are dead under compression and fuel rich environment.

Got spark.

Got fuel.

Then you have no timing.
