New they are black and the more copper color you see the more worn they are.
They are on the dampener in the bottom of the fork leg.

Thanx, yea the fall off is set properly.Never had it wobble like this before. the left tube is very weak and the right is tryin to compensate for it. after riding it a while i can actually feel the shudder even at speeds under 60. I ordered the new progressive springs today along with a Dennis Kirk complete rebuild kit. It is 17 years old and pretty soft.

I would recommend RaceTech over Progressive. I have the Progressive's and they are pretty stiff. Honestly wish I would have just stayed stock, or gone with RaceTech springs. But I did also go with the HeavyDuty springs, might be better with the standard ones, can't say, but honestly would even try em at this point. I had some progressive rear shocks as well (HD & STD) and they were both way too stiff as well, upgraded to Ohlins and couldn't be happier.
