Excessive vibration
Ok so 1992 fatboy.
Had the bike since 08.
So Friday I decided to go to a strip club on the bike and I couldn't get it into 3rd gear or higher.
Today I adjusted the shift engagement screw. Grinded down a 11/16 box wrench and adjusted the shift where I can get it to go in all gears. Test rode today so far so good.
I have a problem. My teeth vibrate so much I worry they are going to fall out. My body shakes for 20min after I get off the bike. Of course evo are rigid mounted and if it didn't shake raddle and roll it wouldn't be a harley, but has anyone experienced this and what are the remedies?

One guy I know found that the gear on the clutch hub was loose and it was causing him excessive vibration.
You might also look at replacing the rubber isolators under the risers.
Are your wheels balanced?
Are the isolators in your foot boards in good condition?
That is about all I can come up with right now.

Excessive vibration
A guy I know spent a year replacing all kinds of **** trying to get rid of a vibration at 2,000 rpms. In the end he spent a lot of money and got a sweet running bike but it will still shake his ***** on the seat like he's sitting on a paint can shaker at 2000 rpms. Smooth everywhere else though.

The one time I had excessive vibration it was in my feet.
I replaced the rubber pads on my foot boards and everything was fine again.
