Default 98 MM Fuel Tanks

I've got a 1998 police roadking fuel injected . It onl has 3.5 gallon tanks did they ever make bigger tanks with the MM EFI ?????

my 98 RKC has a 5 gallon tank.

I wonder if it was a police model thing , it sucks i gotta fill up every 120 miles

Do you have a fuel gauge?
Is your tank completely empty when you fill up?

FWIW I fill mine up about every 130 miles but I still have about a gallon in reserve when I do. (Carbed Heritage)

yes i have a fuel gauge left Tank side , the tanks are definatley smaller then my 5 gallon fat bobs on the shovelhead

My 97 FLHT has a 5 gal. tank and have seen 2 FLHTP with 5 gal. tanks. Friends dad's motor he kept from his days.

I guess its me ( what else is new ) so if i have 5 gallon tanks but the gauge and warning light are coming on with 2 gallons left --is the gauge adjustable ?

I would check the capacity first before messing around with anything else.

I checked the 98 police supplement parts book and it shows all models had the 5 gallon tanks , i will for sure visually check it when it shows low , just dont want to push it and run the pump dry
