Default leaking transmission oil again!!!!!!!

well....I went out to the detached garage and under the 89 tour glide is a small spot of oil....put it up on the lift and found its leaking transmission oil somewhere by the drive pulley...this will be the third time im gonna have to take it apart...I used a new spacer and seal the last time I tore it apart.
what am I missing? do u need to use one of those Jims seal installers? I put the seal on the spacer first and then slide the spacer over the shaft and push the main seal flush with the case(it has the 94 upgraded seal and spacer)....I also changed the shifter seal and that's dry.
any help before I take it apart and waste more money on seals and gaskets just to have another leak.

the pic shows the leak to the right of the led flashlight light....

well...tore it apart....oil was in the outside of the drive pully and no oil was running down the transmission.....looked alittle closer and found the oil coming out of the main shaft......running out of the shaft, through the splines of the drive pulley and down....
what does this mean? what needs to be done to fix it?

your splines on the main gear are shot. you need to change it. when the splines are worn, the pulley will never seat right and the transmission will leak through the quad seal.

It doesn't mean your splines are shot at all. Your IP bearing race that presses onto the mainshaft has walked into the maingear seal. You'll need to pull the gear set to replace it. I would go back in with the baker high torque bearing kit to fix this issue. The race can walk into the IPB seal which makes life a little easier.

True, but it could be just grime and oil. I see his race hasn't walked like I thought. Quad seal could be old and rotted.

Looks like there's a step in them, in other words they're twisted. I wonder what the inside of the pulley looks like.

If the leak were coming from the spacer or seal, the oil would be on the inside of the pulley.

Oil on the outside of pulley= seal between mainshaft and main drive gear.
