I have a set of those I took off my 05 Electra glide when I put the Brembo's on it. Since I have the caliber already I will probably go this route since a sweet deal on a PM hasn't fallen into my lap yet.

Thanks. Your setup looks great. A nicer look than the Tokico calipers with Speed Merchant brackets.

Upgrading the braking system is always a good thing to do. On my '85 FXRC I went with XR1200 calipers.

XR1200 calipers look good as well! Are they a bolt-on upgrade? 11.5" rotor?

Better performance?

Thank you all for some great ideas!

I used the legs from an FXDX 2000-2005 and the XR calipers were direct bolt on, with HD floating rotors. Awesome front brakes now.

Thanks Jim. Very nice FXR!

I take it that you upgraded to the adjustable cartridge type legs. What is your opinion of their performance?

Sorry for running a little off topic.

I really like the full adjustability of them. I also have an '02 FXDXT with that front end and same XR calipers.

Thumbs up

Jim, lovely bike, well done! We had a new FXDXT for several years and it is a great shame that H-D failed to upgrade the suspension of other models to the same quality.

Thank you Sir! I'm in total agreement about the FXDXT just a riding bike.
