I hate to be a wuss, but Dr.L don't like 500 mile days anymore, so if we could be like 400 miles-ish max from NW Arkansas, that is kinda our radius. It is the difference between a 3 day trip and a 5 day trip for us.

DFW, DEEP East Texas where them banjo's play (again), etc.

 

That ain't been wuss It's just being real It would be the same for me.

Some who chimed in already would have to make a vacation outta this.

The more east and more north the better for me, and April is pushing the season a bit up here, so the later the better.

But don't put too much on any of that. Not being of the retired nature myself, my ability to get away will depend on how busy things are at work.

We could always go to Arkansas. I've been wanting to get up that way.

 

I'm interested. What are the dates? I'm doing Thunder Beach with my son, which is April 27 - May 1 in Panama City Beach.

 

Arkansas has some great riding, that's for sure.

 

Hot Springs is nice in April/May. Texarkana might be a good place to meet. Ive always wanted to take a ride on my bike from there to Hot Springs , to Mena, and back to Texarkana. Beautiful drive with some hairy curves
