Used stock efi cables on SS a mukuni and a CV. Did u look in the manual at how to adjust? Need to loosen up adjuster by grip.

I used to always shoot for no slack til I read somewhere in the manual to just adjust until you have full throttle. Lived happily ever after without stretching the cable and stressing the ends.

Ok, so I need to splice into the white wire with a black stripe and run that to the ignition coil, correct? And the solid pink wire is the tach wire. Can i splice into the pink wire anywhere in the harness running along the top tube of the frame and run it to the coil?

yup. The white wire with the black trace is power to your ign and the coil. The tach wire can be accessed in the harness where the old MMI connector used to go.

The tach wire is the one that goes to the negative side of the coil.
On my bike it is solid pink. ('95 FLSTC)
