Don't know if you want the bike, and don't know how much he needs for it, but that's the kind of Evo I like to buy.
Thanks - pretty set on a road king though. In the past I have only bought used bikes and from guys I can meet and get the details from directly and see what their house is like, their, garage, their car, etc. - I have done really well with sticking to bikes that it ALL looks good. As eager as I am, I am sure my ocd will not allow me to make rash judgement. Thanks for the tips.

Keep in mind that the buying frenzy will start in two-three weeks and you will not have the luxury of taking your time deciding about a bike.

yeah no doubt. Hopefully by then I will have seen enough not so perfect bikes to know when a bike is the perfect one for me.

I know to expect base gasket leaks but this seemed a little excessive (coming out of base and appeared out of push rod base too) and besides the paint was candy red - i didn't get that from the pics and I didn't like it - and the story about the tranny is that for some unexplained reason there was a shaft that was loose and sliding back and forth and a rebuild was done by a friend of his who is a "legit" backyard mechanic and the work was completed in the fall and immediately stored so not test driven much - and the bike sat all last year never ridden because he couldnt afford to fix it and he thinks he put seafoam in it when it sat. Long story short...too late...I passed.

Good call.
The base gasket thing isn't hard to fix but that tranny thing would stop me in a heart beat.

It was about as ugly as a double bag blind date.
