Default Went to double check swing arm for cracks but found this ....

I went outside to check for cracks in the swing arm and found none but found a crack in rubber boot in the left rear shocks. They have bled some type of fluid on the swing arm and tail pipe.

Guess that means I found out why the rear is low. Also means I have to replace that shock.

Can't win for loosing .........

It could be worse.

I once snapped a bolt on a shock on my Heritage and the opposite shock was leaking. Needless to say it rode like **** all the way home. I was kind of far from home and didn't have much choice at the time.

Look around and you may find some take offs in good shape for not much money.

On a two wheeled vehicle it's considered good luck to find a chassis problem in the garage as opposed to on the road. As Crash said, take off shocks are darn near give away items.

Your rear end is low because you have lowering brackets on there,
your shock rubber boot has a tear in it from possibly rubbing on the bracket.

The shock spring would have to be broken to make the bike sit lower, I don't think thats the case.

If the shock is indeed leaking, as others said, should be easy to find cheap pair of takeoffs, and take those lowering brackets off.

Those rubber boots are usually just dust seals.
Are you sure it is leaking out of the shock and not leaking somewhere else and the wind is blowing it onto the shock?
