As fate would have it, I had the chance to put them to the test a little while ago. My wife and I went out on a little spin...100 miles or so. Almost back to the house, the light ahead turns yellow. I'm practically in the intersection already, and assumed that the car ahead of me would just go through.

Wrong.

Dude stopped short. I grabbed a fistful of Wilwoods and lo and behold, those things really do have a lot of stop in them.

My wife was all like "WOW! That was close!!!" and I was all like "What? That? No big deal!"

Was my first impression after I installed duals on my mine , did my usual grab and damn near pulled a stopie. Took a while to get used too, I'm not seeing a down side to them and it's been 3 years now.

those look good, sounds like they perform nice. I'm considering one for my fatboy but I have a set off an 05 Electra glide so I'm also considering using the left one with the adapter, I just don't like to bulky look.

I bought a set of ultima 4 piston front brake conversion . They look like 2000 up harley calipers. How would these compare to the willowoods.
I had these on my 87 fxr with the 127ci
And they stopped pretty good. They were only 110 at the time ea.

I was tempted by those too brad but a few guys on here don't speak highly of Chinese knock offs.....I don't know if they're good or not just some have said not to trust them...the wilwoods are only about $80 more each which isn't that much for ensuring your safety.
